We started production by buying semi processed kernel called Borma under a sole proprietorship named Matnad Int’L Co.
Year 2003
MATNAD INDUSTRIES LTD was incorporated.
Year 2005
We Received GMP Certification from the National Agency for food and control (NAFDAC).
Year 2005
We became a founding member of African Cashew Alliance (ACA)
Year 2010
We started full time Cashew processing having contracted consultants who came and trained us on how to do it and also the buying and installation of the machineries and equipments.
Year 2011
We moved into the company owned factory building having been operating from rented premises since inception.
Year 2014
We launched an engineering dept.
Year 2016
We launched a plan that will enable us start exporting cashew kernels to EU market.
Year 2017
We broke ground on a green field facility that will meet European Union Regulations on food safety and Environmental standards.
